I had a session with Miss E a while back and I never posted from her session. We did these in a park here in the Memphis area and they turned out adorable!

Botanic Gardens

Here are a few photos I took out at the Botanic Gardens here in Memphis. I love them and I was specifically shooting so that I would be able to use some as artwork. Would a family being photographed in front of the cherry blossom trees not be gorgeous?!?!?! What beautiful artwork for your home!! Christmas Card Mini Sessions

It's the most wonderful time of the year!! Well not yet but it will be here very soon here in Memphis. This means it's time to start thinking about Christmas cards. This year I'm offering Christmas card mini sessions. These sessions will be held within Shelby County at one of several locations. If you have a particular location in mind please email me and I will try to make it work. Your session must be paid for upon booking due to the limited amount of sessions I have available.

Sweet 6 Month Old- Arlington, TN Baby Photographer

This is another from a session a few weeks back with my niece. She has the biggest and sweetest smile here. This is definitely a favorite of mine from the session. This age of 6 months is usually the most fun to photograph. They are happy and can not run away and tell you NO at this age :) Thank you so much for looking!

My Brother's Family Session- Memphis, TN Family Photographer, Memphis Child Photographer

Last week I photographed my brother's sweet family. Miss M is 6 months old so we decided to just make a family session out of it since they did not have any formal family of 4 photos. We tried out a new park in the Memphis area and I think I like this new location. Mr. B and Mrs. M I hope you enjoy the photos of your precious family :)

It is quite hard to get a sibling shot at this age but I love this one. B looks so sweet and Miss M is giving that sweet little grin.

Good Morning all. Here is another sweet photo of my almost, kind of newborn niece. I guess she is technically considered a baby here at 3 months old. I did her 6 month session yesterday and so I thought I better share a few from her 3 month session before sharing the new ones :) They just grow up so fast and that is why it is so important to capture all the milestones. Here is my sweet niece at 3 months old! You would never know since you typically do not get these sleepy photos beyond 10 days. She only slept for a few minutes but I definitely took advantage of what she gave me :) Thanks for looking.

I Heart Faces Pet Week Contest

This is George, my kitty! He was found with his Mom and 2 siblings in a barn and I couldn't help but take them in. My brother and his mini me- Memphis, TN family, toddler, baby photographer

These two sweet and handsome boys happen to be my nephew and brother. They are so much alike as you can see by the look they both happen to be giving me! They look just alike too, my brother definitely has a little mini me. We went downtown last summer for this session and this photo just happened to be hidden until recently. I have no idea how I overlooked it when I originally went through this session but I am so glad I found it now. I hope everyone is having a great Saturday even though it is rainy and just nasty outside today here. Oh well gives me some time to actually catch up on a few projects I have been needing to do. Mother and Daughter- Memphis, TN Child and Family Photographer

Seriously could a more precious moment have been forever captured?!?! This makes photography so fulfilling when you capture these moments between mother and child or father and child. I just love the detail shots, as I'm sure you already know if you keep up with the blog! I photographed sweet little E again this morning (photos to follow soon). I must mention that taking your child with you to a session, even if it's just family, is not the best idea. He was tired and ready for a nap which means he only wanted Mommy. This is fine except it is impossible to concentrate on photographing a child that's not really into the session when yours is screaming for you. Ahhh but I must admit I love my baby boy needs me, most women love to be needed and between him and my husband that need is usually met! I just love my boys (big one and little one). Okay enough of the going on and on here's the photo for today...

Hey guys I know it's been a while but I'm back to share a super sweet photo of E & E. Anyone who has a brother or sister knows that these moments are few and far between, especially at this age. This session was lots of fun and I learned lots! Photography is one of those areas where you never learn everything. When you think you have a handle on it boom here comes new technology or new techniques. It's lots of fun though especially when you are able to learn by actually getting out there and shooting.
